Els or\u00edgens de la Sagrada Fam\u00edlia se situen cap a 1866 quan una congregaci\u00f3 de devots de Sant Josep va pensar a edificar un temple en el seu honor. La primera pedra es va col\u00b7locar el 1882, el dia 19 de mar\u00e7, festivitat de Sant Josep<\/strong>, enmig d’uns terrenys de 12.000 metres quadrats de superf\u00edcie. El primer arquitecte va ser Francisco de Paula del Villar i Lozano per\u00f2 aviat va abandonar el projecte per desavinences.<\/p>\n

Estil neog\u00f2tic i una mica m\u00e9s<\/h2>\n

Un any m\u00e9s tard Antoni Gaud\u00ed va prendre la direcci\u00f3 de les obres. I va comen\u00e7ar a desplegar-se un somni entre hum\u00e0 i div\u00ed. Quan Gaud\u00ed va morir el 1925 havia vist al\u00e7ar-se solament la primera de les divuit torres que tindr\u00e0 l\u2019edifici quan finalitzi l’obra, es calcula que l\u2019any 2026.
La construcci\u00f3 va comen\u00e7ar a partir de la cripta d’estil neog\u00f2tic. Per\u00f2 a Gaud\u00ed la va replantejar completament. A les seves mans, el g\u00f2tic es va fusionar amb l\u2019 Art Noveau o Modernisme creant un estil personal i inimitable.<\/p>\n

La primera fa\u00e7ana en aixecar-se va ser la del Naixement<\/h2>\n

Com una p\u00e0gina en pedra, resumeix l’episodi b\u00edblic de manera il\u00b7lustrada. Carregat de simbologies, el projecte esdev\u00e9 un veritable catecisme des del punt de vista conceptual. Gaud\u00ed va concebre per a aquesta fa\u00e7ana formes tradicionals barrejades amb atrevides innovacions arquitect\u00f2niques.<\/p>\n

El 1930 es van acabar els campanars de la fa\u00e7ana del Naixement i el 1933 es va enllestir el portal de la Fe i el xiprer central.<\/p>\n

Al mateix temps, en un dels laterals l\u2019arquitecte instal\u00b7lava el seu taller, l’espai en el qual va viure els \u00faltims anys de la seva vida dedicat en exclusiva a la seva obra. Des que va comen\u00e7ar l’edifici, l’autor de La Pedrera<\/a> i del Parc G\u00fcell solament va treballar en la Sagrada Fam\u00edlia. En un altre dels costats del temple, Gaudi constru\u00efa unes Escoles per a l’educaci\u00f3 dels nens del barri i els treballadors de l’obra.<\/p>\n

La gran aventura de construir una catedral els segles XX i XXI<\/h3>\n

\"TheTamb\u00e9 passava hores i hores construint maquetes que eren en si mateixes una obra d’art. Li servien com un laboratori en miniatura on assajar les seves noves idees constructives. Amb ajuda dels moderns ordinadors, la restauraci\u00f3 de les restes d’aquestes maquetes \u00e9s el que avui dia permet imaginar com va voler Gaud\u00ed que fos la seva obra.
Despr\u00e9s de la mort de l’arquitecte, les obres de la bas\u00edlica van seguir avan\u00e7ant per\u00f2 molt lentament. Cal tenir en compte que, en menys de deu anys, Espanya estaria immersa en una Guerra Civil de nefastes conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies per a la Sagrada Fam\u00edlia perqu\u00e8 part dels pl\u00e0nols es va perdre en un incendi. Tres generacions d’arquitectes han estat necess\u00e0ries per reconstruir l’ADN del projecte.<\/p>\n

Els turistes a la Sagrada Fam\u00edlia, art i fe<\/h2>\n

Des del principi va ser un temple expiatori el que significa que el cost de les obres es pagava mitjan\u00e7ant donacions volunt\u00e0ries. Avui, gr\u00e0cies a la gran aflu\u00e8ncia de visitants de totes les nacionalitats i creences les obres se succeeixen a bon ritme. Molta gent segueix veient-ho com un temple cristi\u00e0; per\u00f2 no \u00e9s estrany trobar opinions de qui creu que la construcci\u00f3 es podria convertir en un s\u00edmbol universal de la Fe.<\/p>\n

Com hem dit, Gaud\u00ed va morir atropellat per un tramvia havent vist en peu un sol campanar, el dedicat a Sant Bernab\u00e9. Quan conclogui, l’edifici comptar\u00e0 amb una torre central dedicada a la figura de Jes\u00fas. Amb 172,5 metres ser\u00e0 com una escala al cel. Una de les esgl\u00e9sies m\u00e9s altes del m\u00f3n per\u00f2 sempre respectant que proporcionalment no mesuri m\u00e9s que un dels turons emblem\u00e0tics de la ciutat: Montju\u00efc. Gaud\u00ed volia establir un di\u00e0leg amb la divinitat per\u00f2 mai superar la seva Creaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n

The origins of Sagrada Familia,\u00a0one of the most famous temples in the world<\/h2>\r\nThe origins of Sagrada Familia are around 1866 when a congregation of devotees of St. Joseph had the idea of building a temple in his honor. The first stone was laid in 1882,<\/strong> on March 19, the feast of San Jos\u00e9, in the middle of a land of 12,000 square meters. The first architect<\/strong> was Don Francisco de Paula del Villar y Lozano but soon abandoned the project<\/strong> because of disagreements.\r\n

\"TheNeo-Gothic style and more<\/h3>\r\nA year later Antonio Gaudi took the direction of the works.<\/strong> And he began to unfold a dream between human and divine. Gaud\u00ed died in 1926<\/strong> right on time to finisht the first of the eighteen towers that will be build and the end of the construction, estimated in 2026. The Coonstruction began from the neo-Gothic crypt. But Gaudi revisited the design. In his hands, the Gothic would merge with the Art Noveau<\/strong> creating a personal and inimitable style.\r\n

The first was the facade of the Nativity<\/h3>\r\nLike a page in stone, it summarizes the biblical episode in a pictoric way. Full of symbolism, the project is a great catechism from the conceptual point of view. Gaud\u00ed conceived this facade of traditional forms mixed with bold architectural innovations.<\/strong> During the origins of Sagrada Familia,<\/em> he set up his workshop and the space in which lived the last years of his life inside the construction site. Since 1912 to 1926 (the year of his death), the author of La Pedrera<\/a><\/strong> and Park Guell <\/a>only worked on the Sagrada Familia. He built as well the Temporary Schools<\/strong> for the education of children in the neighborhood and construction workers.\r\n\r\nIn 1930 the bell towers of the Nativity fa\u00e7ade were finished and in 1933 the portal of the Faith and the central cypress were completed.\r\n

The great adventure of building a cathedral in the XX and XXI centuries<\/h2>\r\n\u00a0\r\n\r\n\"TheAt the origins of Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi spent hours building models that were themselves a work of art.<\/strong> They were used as a miniature laboratory to rehearse his new constructive ideas. With the help of modern computers, the restoration of the remains of these models is what helps us today to imagin what Gaud\u00ed wanted.\r\n\r\nAfter the death of the architect, the construction of the basilica continued to advance very slowly. In just ten years Spain would be immersed in a Civil War<\/strong> with huge consequences for the Sagrada Familia: some of the designs were lost in a fire. Three generations of architects have been needed to rebuild the project's DNA.\r\n
