What to expect of our Barcelona Food Tours
You will not share the guide with any stranger
We make only private tours, so you start as clients and end up as friends.
You will discover places in Barcelona where us, the locals, go
That’s why you might even taste things you never heard before and you will discover the fusion side of Barcelona.
We propose to discover new drinks, our food and the city
You’ll have the last word because in our tours, the tastings are not reserved beforehand. Be Adventurous!
We connect food with our history and traditions.
In addition to food, you will explore either a neighborhood in Barcelona or an area of Catalonia.
Barcelona wine tours
When we gather around a table the drink is almost as important as food. Did you know that in Catalonia there is wine since the Romans? And that in our small territory we have 12 Denominations of Origin? This is why we developed our wine and cava (champagne’s cousin) tours, because Catalan Wine is worth a spin!
You will visit traditional family wineries (prepare to go back in time). We flee from the large cellars filled with tourists to stroll and breathe among vines, which in some cases are hundred-year-old.
We will also go underground several meters where there are real treasures hidden in the form of a room full of barrels.
All this with a private guide and a driver with a vehicle. A luxury!
Let's go to a winery!
Why Our Barcelona food and wine tours?
When you are part of big group, the itineraries are standardized and not very original. When you buy a tickets to be part of an open group, you won’t have your word to say regarding the choice of food or drinks.
And this is where the formula of the private guide goes into action: we enjoy a lot designing and doing foodie tours, we like to eat, research and try. This is the reason why when you arrive to a new venue, the guide becomes the point of union with it, informing and proposing different choices depending on your appetite and your desire to try new things.
Also, with our tours you will learn about main ingredients, family and festive dinners, our dessert and sweet calendar and a fascinating subject, our meal hours!
Another factor is that you will discover sites and areas not that famous which have a lot to offer.
In addition, with our tours, you will support the local economy, as guides we pay our taxes here (we are not a multinational based in a tax haven) and the places where we will take you are local and family run.
Good News! we propose cultural tours as well. Here you have our Best Sellers
Coming soon to Barcelona? Here you have some of our gourmet ideas!
Though one should never round out a visit to Barcelona without sampling the fruits of Catalonia’s twelve denominación de origen wine regions, there’s no harm in seeking a drink a little stiffer on an evening. The city is famed for its winemaking, and Barcelona has...
Make no doubt about it: Barcelona is a city of food - Spain’s foodie capital. From its bustling food markets selling traditional treats and freshly-picked vegetables from the vast Spanish countryside, to the countless tapas bars on every street corner...
Typical! You book a city break in Barcelona to soak up the atmosphere and sun - and it’s raining. The Mediterranean climate means we typically enjoy mild winters and scorching summers, though from time to time, a little rain pours down and the sun...
Anna was great! She was informative without being boring, catered to our specific sight-seeing requests, and kept us fully enlightened and entertained. How this woman has so much knowledge, I don’t know! She literally had the answer to every single question we had. We stopped for a coffee mid-way as she could sense we were getting tired from walking and I enjoyed chatting to her socially. I 100% recommend her for anyone going to Barcelona!
We engaged Anna for a 3 days private tour in Barcelona. She is very dedicated and knowledgeable on every places of interest in Barcelona. When my child wasn’t feeling too well during the trip, she was flexible and accommodative to our last minute changes and requests. My family truly enjoyed our trip in Barcelona and had a wonderful time spent with Anna. If you are looking for customized private tour, Anna will be the best person to engage!!
We concur with all the previous wonderful reviews of Anna and her team. We ended up having three tours with Anna and each one was different, informative and superb. If you would prefer to soak in the city and keep your nose out of the guide books and maps contact Barcelonina. Our trip to Spain had been derailed but once we contacted Jordi, everything started to improve. These folks have it together, make great suggestions on what to do and are patient with letting you make up your mind. Barcelona would not have been nearly as fascinating without them.
