Barcelona Aquarium<\/span><\/h2>\n

The perfect day out for the whole family, L\u2019Aqu\u00e0rium de Barcelona is a real underwater treat. It\u2019s home to more than 11,000 animals (covering 450 species) and it\u2019s also Europe\u2019s only Oceanarium, with fourteen themed areas which cover everything from the Meditteranean to the Tropical Coral Reef and the \u201cJewels of the Sea\u201d Exhibition you won\u2019t find anywhere else. If you\u2019re planning a visit, find some time to explore the glass tunnel, where you can walk with sharks, and check out the regular feeding talks which are delivered in Spanish and English.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re after an adventure, it\u2019s possible to cage dive with sharks or dive without a cage if you\u2019re a qualified scuba diver. The little ones can even stay overnight, where they\u2019ll be given a sleeping bag and left to catch some Zs in front of the aquarium\u2019s awe-inspiring shark tank.<\/p>\n
