Services and products

Services are provided based on our acceptance of your order or request.

Service will not be considered as accepted until we have received and processed your full payment.

You will receive an email to confirm your order or reservation, along with the details of your purchase or reservation.

In case there was an error in the confirmation email is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any order, person or entity, without being obliged to give explanations for it.

We may at any time change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Site or Service, as long as we comply with previous responsibilities we have contracted with you upon acceptance of your payment.

Tours

Tours include

Official guide for the number of reserved hours (unless otherwise indicated).

Professional driver with insurance (if you have booked a shuttle service included).

Luxury car (if you have booked a shuttle service included): Mercedes or Audi car, minivan or deluxe luxury coach. Spacious and air-conditioned.

Recommendations for the trip: ideas that can help you plan your stay in Barcelona.

Beginning / Final on the cruise terminal (only services including transport).

VAT

The tours do not include

The tickets to the attractions or museums

Taxis, metro or bus. If necessary during walking tours / taxi / subway.

Meals (if necessary)

Drinks and food in the Gourmet Tours.

Transportation of luggage. If you have baggage, the standard prices are not applicable and subject to a surcharge.

Collection / End at the airport or in a hotel in the airport area or outside. Standard rates are not applicable and subject to a surcharge.

Paypal charges in case Paypal is used. 

Personal expenses: souvenirs, drinks and snacks, other …

Medical and insurance expenses.

Tips. In Spain tipping they are not mandatory but are well received and considered a reward for good service. Tipping the end of the tour or not is a personal choice of the customer.

Payment

Full payment is required to confirm your reservation. We will block the date and the guide after its reception.

Cancellations

Private tours

Cancellations with more than 5 days in advance before the tour: a full refund will be made. Except entry fees. 

Cancellations with less than 5 days in advance before the tour: Any refund will be made. 

Special cases: Cancellations by force majeure will be studied in order to reach an agreement.

Weather conditions: Tours are held rain or shine. Bad weather is not a valid reason to cancel a tour.

Cancellations by Barcelonina: In the unlikely event that I or one of my guides should cancel a tour, we will always try to find another date / time which goes well the client. If an agreement is not reached, the amount of the tour will be refunded within 30 working days.

Larger groups or company events

Cancellations with more than 15 days in advance before the tour: a full refund will be made. Except entry fees. 

Cancellations with less than 15 days in advance before the tour: Any refund will be made. 

Special cases: Cancellations by force majeure will be studied in order to reach an agreement.

Weather conditions: Tours are held rain or shine. Bad weather is not a valid reason to cancel a tour.

Changes to a confirmed reservation

Changes of date / time. If you need to change the date or time of your tour, we are open to it but we can not guarantee that it will always be possible since everything depends on our availability for the new date / time. You may need to use a different guide initially agreed.

Changes of date / time of last minute. No such last-minute changes (within 24 hours before the reserved time) is accepted.

Changing routes. Itinerary changes usually can be done without problems (except when forced to prolong the tour depending on our availability). Remember itinerary changes on excursions outside the city may incur increases in the price of the service.

Changes relating to the driver:
– Add a chauffeur. If you have booked a walking tour and then you need to add a driver service, it will only be possible subject to availability.

  • Canceling a driver. If you have booked a service with a driver and then cancel the driver and prefer to do the walking tour, cancellation fees will apply. Each case will be studied specifically.
  • Changing vehicle. If you have booked a tour with a vehicle for a certain number of people and then change the number of people and need larger / smaller vehicle, the change will depend on the availability of vehicles and drivers. This kind of last minute changes are not accepted (with less than 24 hours in advance).

Other details regarding the tours

The customer is responsible for reporting on the meeting point: In the case where the client has booked a tour before knowing the accommodation, or if there is any change of accommodation, the customer is responsible for informing Barcelonina.

The tour begins at the agreed time with the client to meet the guide. If the client is late, he/she will lost that time. The customer delay is not refundable, and the tour will end at the agreed time at the time of booking.
Itinerary: The tour will focus on the agreed route, but we reserve the right to change the itinerary and the program according to the weather and other unforeseeable events such as traffic, demonstrations, street work and / or monuments … Our itineraries are based the usual rate of an average tourist: neither too fast nor too slow. Our guides set the pace in a friendly manner, but it is your responsibility to follow their instructions to get to see all the sites included in the itinerary.

Meals: During meals on a tour and for the gourmet tours, the client must inform the guide of allergies and food intolerances in order to be eligible for assistance when ordering. The customer is fully responsible and Barcelonina will never be responsible for any health problems derived from food and consumed / as drinks during a tour.

Acquiring one of the tours and making the payment you state that:

You understand that Barcelonina Tours & Events S.L. does not own the chauffered services used during the tours by car, minivan or coach. Consequently, Barcelonina Tours & Events S.L. will not be responsible for any negligence or malicious act or failure of others.

You have decided freely participate in the tour, and know the risks involved, including but not limited to: ·

Physical exertion for which you might be not prepared;

Forces of nature;

Transportation problems, either by car, minivan, bus, metro, walking or any other vehicle;

Consumption of alcoholic beverages;

Risks associated with contaminated food or / as beverages;

Social unrest; terrorism;

Criminal actions;

Accident or illness without immediate access to fast evacuation mode and / or without availability of medical services or resources;

Adequacy of medical services provided;

Baggage or property damage, theft, loss or theft.
You understand that your contribution to the tour is crucial for proper development. You are responsible of aspects such as (but not limited to) your mood, interest, interactions, decisions, problems of mobility, punctuality and communication with the guide. If there is anything we can do to improve your experience, do not hesitate to tell your guide, to make the necessary changes if possible.
