You will discover the fascinating history of this singular city while deciphering the facade of the Cathedral, trampling the King’s Square, while browsing the old Jewish Quarter, Montcada Street and Santa Maria del Mar.
You will visit the Market St. Catherine just before breakfast. It’s the perfect time to discover the local gastronomy.

After lunch, a fantastic stroll with your private guide will take you to Passeig de Gracia in order to admire facades such as Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. The explanations full of anecdotes will help you to understand the historical, economic and social moment of the early 20th century.

The one-day visit to Barcelona will end with a visit to Antoni Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia.

One-day visit to Barcelona with a private guide

A single day in the city is short to explore the sights of the city … especially if you are trying to do it yourself: streets to navigate, lines to queue, too much planning before your trip just to get stressed out trying to cover everything you thought you had time to do.

Instead, with a private English-speaking guide, you can cover not twice but three times as much as you would, passing lines and leaving the focus and planning to us. In addition, you receive attention and personalized explanations, and you can see many details that you would have missed by yourself.

How is the visit of Old Barcelona?

It is a walking tour. In fact, most of the streets of the Barcelona Gothic Quarter and Ribera are pedestrianized. In addition, it is a place with a density of elements to know important. As this is a private tour, if you feel like resting a bit, there are places where during the explanations you will be seated, or we can stop for a small snack.
To change neighborhood we will use either the subway (do not worry, this is clean and safe) or a taxi.
The highlights of the visit to the Gothic Quarter are the exterior of the Cathedral, the King’s Square, the old Jewish Quarter, the Sant Jaume Square and the remains of the Roman Wall.

Anna was great. We toured with 2 adults and a 13 year old. She answered every question, gave a great overview and knew everything about the cathedral. Her english is excellent and she made learning fun. I would highly recommend to everyone for her vast knowledge of Barcelona and the cathedral.

JUSTIN (Florida)

Our tour, just the two of us, my wife and I, was one of our real highlights from Barcelona. Anna, has a wealth of knowledge, she is personable and charming, and we would heartily recommend a tour with her to everyone who loves culture, art, history, architecture and the life of this great city.

TIM S. (Australia)

We concur with all the previous wonderful reviews of Anna and her team. We ended up having three tours with Anna and each one was different, informative and superb. If you would prefer to soak in the city and keep your nose out of the guide books and maps contact Barcelonina. Our trip to Spain had been derailed but once we contacted Jordi, everything started to improve. These folks have it together, make great suggestions on what to do and are patient with letting you make up your mind. Barcelona would not have been nearly as fascinating without them.
